Sadly last weekend another 19 year old boy took his life at Warriewood Headland, that makes 9 suicides this year on the northern beaches, the youngest was a 12 year old girl.
We must do something to assist the experts like Youth Off The Streets and One Eighty Avalon, and so ALL proceeds from this event (no deductions) go to these two entities.
There will be a Fundraiser on the 12th Sept at Park House Hotel and we need you, your friends, family and work colleagues to attend please.
The MC for the night is the Voice of Rugby Gordon Bray and the guests to be interviewed include Father Chris Riley (CEO Youth Off The Streets), Samantha Challenger (Organiser One Eighty Avalon), Dr Stephen Nolan (trauma surgeon and local Whale beach dad), Tom and Nick Carroll (surfers and authors), Sam Bloom (local legend mum, quad, olympic canoeist and soon to be producer of the movie ‘Penguin Bloom’) and Mitchell Starc and Alyssa Healy (Australian cricketers aka Mr & Mrs Starc).
Tickets are $100 each for three hours of food and drink thanks to Fraser Short who owns the Park House Hotel.
