This weekend as a club I would like all coaches and parents to really think about their behaviour in regards to referees, officials and general comments.
I know its hard at times. Rugby is a hard game to ref. Even at international level !
We need to make a conscious decision to let it go. It’s simply not acceptable to yell out in any way at referees during a junior rugby match.
Only the captain on the field should speak to the ref about a decision and ask for clarification. If you are an assistant referee you can also report foul play.
Coaches and parents please lead by example.
Can we be known as the best club on and off the field.? I hope so.
