Newport Junior Rugby Club sends all the best to the Mighty Warringah Rats today as they battle for the Shute Shield.
Rugby is going from strength to strength on the beaches . The Rats need to be applauded for all the hard work and dedication it takes to get to the grand final.
But also a huge thanks for all the work you do with the local clubs and community. For those that don’t know many first grade players come down to coaching sessions at Newport junior rugby including Luke and Josh Holmes, Tyson Davis, Harry Jones and head coach Darren Coleman. They also get players down to sessions at all the other local clubs.
It’s no surprise you will see heaps of Newport juniors at North Sydney Oval today cheering for their team and the guys they aspire to be like one day.
Good luck Rats. We are proud of you.
Three Cheers on behalf of the whole junior club
Nigel
