The Dee Why Lions is looking forward to hosting the Coonabarabran Junior Rugby Club as part of Warringah Junior’s ‘Bush 2 Beach Drought Relief Rugby Gala Weekend’ on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October.
As part of the weekend our club will be fielding U11/12 and U15/16 teams to play a series of games against the visiting clubs (Narromine, Dubbo, Coonabarabran, Bourke, Walgett and Walcha). Social events on the Friday and Saturday nights are also being planned.
In coming days the club will be sending out fundraising and donation requests to our sponsors and club families. Fundraising can either be ‘gifts in kind’ or monetary donations to cover travels costs or player registration fees for the 2019 season.
