Wakehurst needs you!
REMINDER OF AGM ~ THURS 25th October, 7:30PM
Apart from the usual committee positions this year we are introducing a new concept of ‘JUST ONE THING’.
We are asking all families to contribute ‘just one thing’ which might include a role such as updating the website, organising first aid supplies, or assistance with a trade such as a locksmith or plumber. These roles are not committee roles and do not require you to attend meetings, but report into a relevant working group. This will alleviate the responsibilities on the current committee and spread the load amongst the Wakehurst members.
Please come along on Thursday to hear about the exciting things happening at the club and find a way to be a part of it. Nominating for ‘just one thing’ makes an enormous difference when we all chip in!
We are introducing the following working groups and are seeking people to take a non-committee role within them:
Competition Working Group
Grounds Working Group
Clubhouse Working Group
Technology Working Group
Social Committee Working Group
Nominations will be accepted from the floor during the course of the meeting. Finger food and refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the meeting.
