In the latest RUGBY AU Referee Update, sent to all referees across Australia, is a memo on Referee abuse and the reporting of it.
There has been an unusual amount of ‘Referee abuse’ reports been received so far in 2019. It is the No. 1 deterrent for Referees not to continue refereeing and as you all know we need Refs. The NSW RUGBY UNION WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS ABUSE in any competition. The reporting of this will be increased and the punishments will be enforced.
It might be timely to remind all on field participants and also all your members that Ref abuse will not be accepted from anyone
