Great event this Sunday for all coaches and interested coaches. !!
Hi Age Coordinators (and coaches whose email I have),
The club is investing in the development and support of our coaches in 2021.
To get started, we have enlisted the support of James Stannard (Professional Rugby Coach/ @Launch Rugby/ Former professional rugby player).
James will be working with us to develop a program to support your training sessions for the season ahead and aligning this to the Newport Playbook.
Before he designs the sessions, he would like to hear from the coaches. What do you need? What do you want to work on? And he also wants to make sure that this is age group specific.
To get started, he would like to meet with the coaches and run a workshop with us. The details are as follows:
Date: 28th of February (aligned to the NJRU open day)
Time: 9am to 10.30am (we may only need 1 hour)
Location: Clubhouse (we will be using the AV inside the club for this session)
Can I please ask that 1 x coach from each age group attend (or more if you have more available).
So that I can plan and set up accordingly, can you also please confirm the attendees names (and age group/ team) to me via email.
This is a great opportunity handed to us by the club. Please make every effort for 1 x coach to attend from your age group.
