Wakehurst Rugby Club Update
NSW Rugby have provided advice to all Club’s, given the current Covid Pandemic lockdowns being extended to 11:59pm 30th July resulting in the cancellation of rounds scheduled for the weekend of 16-18 July, 23-25 July and 30 July-1st August.
We understand our many players will be disappointed but it’s imperative we heed the NSW Government Health Advice and stay safe and sadly that means Community Sport will continue to be on hold.
But it’s not all bad, we’re extremely lucky to be in a digital age where we can still watch and download / stream more rugby during this lockdown – even if our Wallabies on Tuesday didn’t quite go to plan, but there’s another match on Saturday…. Take some shots of our players in their #ManOfSteel shirts and let’s create a montage – isolation can still be togetherness in supporting our game!
Once we have more information on the restart of our competition’s we’ll provide further details, in the meantime, please stay safe whilst we get through this lockdown together!
