Wakehurst Rugby would like to thank Cromer Golf Club for their help and expertise in refurbishing our pitch.
Whilst we haven’t been able to play due to Covid Lockdown, we have been exceptionally busy refurbishing the rugby pitch with the help of Leon Hennessy (head greens keeper) who has been giving the club valuable advice on how to get the pitch in tip top condition, not withstanding this, they went the extra mile for us and leant us green keeping equipment to complete the works. We have been blessed to have their support.
The pitch is now looking absolutely brilliant, having been aerated with a corer, fed with fairway fertiliser and top dressed with 112 tonnes of sand, giving us a fantastic surface to play on when rugby resumes.
Special thanks not only to Cromer Golf Club and Leon Hennessy but also to Woody, Rusty, Marcus, Mark and Cliffy for all their work in the refurbishment.
The 2022 Season is looking sensational.
